Job summary

Cache Valley Hospital is seeking a Housekeeping Associate (Part Time) to maintain patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms and other spaces with a focus on sanitation and safety. You will follow cleaning schedules, use proper PPE, and complete special projects as assigned, contributing to a clean, welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The role requires basic English proficiency; prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, stairways, elevators and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Follow established PPE policies when handling chemicals and cleaning, including wearing gloves, masks, etc.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or Supervisor.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Provide courteous and caring service to all customers.
