PIONEER HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a part-time role in Ferndale, MI. The incumbent will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensure adherence to facility protocols, and manage basic housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

The role requires experience in institutional housekeeping, familiarity with floor-care equipment, and strong English communication. Supervision will be provided by the Department Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is beneficial.
• Experience with floor-care equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily per facility protocols.
• Uses proper chemicals and may mop floors as directed.
• Empties trash and disposes of waste properly.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows using appropriate equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies safety hazards and follows safety rules.
• Reviews facility policy on Abuse Prevention and enforces it.
• Attends required in-services and complies with policies.
