Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) in Fishersville, VA for a part-time, on-site role. You will perform cleaning, servicing and replenishing duties across hospital areas to ensure a sanitary environment and patient safety.

Work includes every other weekend and holidays, with collaboration with care teams and adherence to established cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet Virginia state employment requirements
• High School or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, servicing and replenishing duties in assigned hospital areas to maintain sanitation.
• Provide daily housekeeping in patient care areas and lounges.
• Follow 7-step cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support patient care teams and communicate with staff as needed.
• Work every other weekend and holidays as assigned.
