Job summary

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, MT is seeking a Part Time Housekeeping Tech to join our Environmental Services Team. The role cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of the medical center and its ancillary buildings, and maintains knowledge of equipment and supplies used in the housekeeping process.

Duties include completing assignments with thoroughness and accuracy, adhering to safety rules, using PPE, and reporting equipment issues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial cleaners and equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including basic computer use.
• Must meet local health regulation requirements including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
• Current Montana state driver's license.
• Previous hospital housekeeping experience preferred, including knowledge of infection control.
• High School Education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and disinfect all areas of the medical center and ancillary buildings.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and supplies used in the housekeeping process.
• Complete assignments with thoroughness and accuracy.
• Adhere to safety rules, wear PPE and report equipment issues promptly.
• Keep EVS/storage areas clean and organized; restock supplies as needed.
• Follow dress code and attendance policies; complete required education courses.
• Assist with rotating shifts to cover weekends/holidays as needed.
