Job summary

Bozeman Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and general areas. You will follow established infection prevention procedures and safety standards to support a safe environment of care.

Responsibilities include handling cleaning chemicals, waste, and linen, and maintaining equipment while delivering excellent customer service. This role may require flexible hours and weekend work as part of a hospital EVS team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of cleaning, hospitality, or healthcare support experience preferred.
• CHEST credential is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, restrooms, and assigned areas following defined procedures.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals, PPE, and SDS guidance.
• Manage waste, sharps containers, and linen per policy.
• Replenish supplies and report par levels and equipment needs.
• Maintain and clean equipment such as carts, mops, and vacuums.
• Provide timely, professional service and respond to room/service requests.
