Job summary

Corewell Health in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Associate to maintain an aseptic, safe, clean, and attractive hospital environment under moderate direction.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, inventory of supplies, interacting with patients and staff, and disinfecting patient areas. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 20 hours per week, with every other weekend, starting pay $16.26/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand simple oral instructions and communicate simple job-related problems.
• Preferred: High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum/Sweep
• Dust Mop/Damp Mop
• Remove Trash/Soiled Linen
• Use Chemicals to clean/polish
• Interact with Patients/Guests/Staff
• Low Dust/High Dust
• Disinfect/Terminally Clean Patient Contact Surfaces
• Replace Supplies (i.e., paper products, soap, etc.)
• Complete miscellaneous cleaning tasks, as assigned
