Job summary

Corewell Health in Dearborn is seeking a part-time Environmental Services team member to maintain a clean, aseptic, safe hospital environment under moderate direction. You will perform basic tasks including vacuuming, dust mopping, trash removal, disinfecting patient contact surfaces, and restocking supplies per department policies, while interacting with patients, guests, and staff.

Shift is 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday with every-other weekend.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand simple oral instructions and communicate simple job-related problems.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum/Sweep
• Dust Mop/Damp Mop
• Remove Trash/Soiled Linen
• Use Chemicals to clean/polish
• Interact with Patients/Guests/Staff
• Low Dust/High Dust
• Disinfect/Terminally Clean Patient Contact Surfaces
• Replace Supplies (i.e., paper products, soap, etc.)
• Complete miscellaneous cleaning tasks, as assigned
