Job summary

Corewell Health in St. Joseph, MI, is seeking an Environmental Service Technician. You will clean and disinfect patient areas, remove linens and waste, and maintain floors, carpets and upholstery while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

No experience is required—full training is provided. You’ll work evenings, part-time (16 hours weekly), with opportunities to grow and learn new skills within a supportive hospital team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas according to procedures.
• Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams.
• Maintain floors, carpets and upholstery; perform interim and restorative cleaning as needed.
• Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital; cooperate with team for continuity of services.
