Jamestown Regional Medical Center seeks a Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual and bereavement support to patients, families, and staff. The role involves compassion, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with the nursing team in a hospice setting.

This casual, part-time position requires seminary training, two years of experience, CPI training, and the ability to work weekdays with occasional home visits. A ND driver’s license and a background check are required.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology.
• Completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent.
• Two years of professional work experience.
• Must attend Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Must hold a North Dakota driver's license; reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct spiritual/pastoral/bereavement support to patients and families.
• Assist in Nursing Care Plans and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Attend inservice/education programs and perform charting as required.
• Maintain a healthy, clean, and safe environment and proper handling of equipment.
• Record vital signs and monitor changes; report unusual observations.
• Travel to home visits as required; participate in weekend/holiday coverage as needed.
