Job summary

Lighthouse Hospice NJ is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families as they navigate life’s meaningful moments. The role offers up to 20 hours per week across Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem Counties.

• Graduate of an accredited seminary (BD/MDiv) or equivalent; pastoral certification preferred.
• Experience in hospice, hospital, or community health settings preferred.
• Strong interfaith tolerance and ability to support diverse beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Assess spiritual and emotional needs of patients and families in care plans.
• Provide spiritual counseling and guidance for individuals and families of all faiths.
• Offer grief and bereavement support during and after the hospice journey.
• Coordinate with the care team to ensure holistic spiritual support.
