Qualifications

• 3 years of hospice billing experience.
• Prefer multi-state hospice billing with varying payer requirements across states.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary medical billing education a plus.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with clinical staff and payers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process hospice claims for payment, ensuring regulatory compliance and payer requirements.
• Upload NOE and NOTR to Medicare within regulatory timelines.
• Review and correct billing errors and follow up with payers promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient billing records and collaborate with clinical staff.
