The position requires at least 3 years hospice billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience, plus knowledge of Medicare hospice billing regulations. On-site in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum 3 years hospice billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare hospice billing regulations.
• Experience with electronic billing systems and EHR platforms.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and managed care payer processes.
• On-site work in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit hospice claims electronically to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Monitor claims to ensure timely submission and reimbursement.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit corrections as needed.
• Post payments to hospice patient accounts and reconcile activity.
• Coordinate with facilities to ensure accurate census information for billing.
• Maintain accurate billing documentation and records.
• Support process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and reimbursement efficiency.
