Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Hospice Aide to support patients in Storm Lake, Cherokee and surrounding areas. You will provide hands-on daily living assistance and emotional support in home, long-term care, or hospital settings.

Join our team to deliver dignified, respectful care focused on comfort and quality of life. Travel between locations is required, with a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Hospice Aide, Home Health Aide, or CNA in the last 24 months preferred.
• Hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple locations in the region.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to support health.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
