Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist to provide compassionate in-home care across Franklin, Granville, Vance, Warren and Nash Counties in North Carolina. The role focuses on assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language and swallowing disorders in adults, promoting independence and quality of life.

You will collaborate with families and care teams, bring CCC-SLP and active license, and deliver evidence-based therapy.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with approved graduate coursework.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC systems for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
