Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Part-Time Speech Therapist (SLP) to cover Franklin, Granville, Vance, Warren, and Nash Counties in North Carolina, working in a home health setting with adults. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders, helping patients recover in the comfort of their homes.

Qualified candidates hold an active North Carolina license and CCC-SLP certification; CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with CFY pathway considered.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provides aural rehabilitation for the deaf or hard of hearing and AAC systems for severe expressive/ language disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
