Job summary

Visiting Angels of Claremont is seeking a Part Time Home Care Aide to support clients in the Upper Connecticut River Valley area. You will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, mobility support, and companionship, following individualized care plans.

Flexible daytime shifts, competitive hourly wages, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for education are offered. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to get to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards and background checks.
• Compassion, understanding, and desire to brighten clients' days.

Part Time Home Care Aide Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
