Job summary

Experience teaching History/Political Science at the community-college level is preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach lower-division courses in History/Political Science.
Advance equitable student learning through exemplary instruction aligned with course outlines.
Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance.
Prepare and grade assignments and examinations and inform students of progress.
Maintain attendance, scholastic, and other records per policies.
Develop, implement, and assess student-learning outcomes for courses and programs.
Engage in data inquiry and self-assessment to improve student success and equity.
Participate in professional development to fulfill FLEX requirements.
Maintain current knowledge in the subject area and effective teaching strategies.
Uphold professional conduct and ethics.
