Ideal candidates hold a PhD in History or a Master’s in History with US History coursework and teaching experience; exceptions may be granted to those with a Master’s in any field who have 18 graduate credits in History

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students in history.
• Experience delivering face-to-face lectures and discussions.
• Ability to assess student performance and provide feedback within course objectives.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
