Qualifications

• Master’s degree in History or American Civilization required.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.
• All degrees from regionally accredited institutions.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver academic instruction, including developing syllabi, content, and assessments.
• Maintain and submit class records and attendance for financial aid compliance.
• Participate in student grade appeal procedures.
• Observe the college calendar and post office hours.
• Participate in assessment of student learning per the assessment plan.
