Job summary

Bonny Eagle Adult Education is seeking a knowledgeable instructor to teach a HiSET writing preparation class and tutor students during the fall and spring semesters. The role focuses on helping adult learners build confidence and strengthen writing skills to earn their high school equivalency.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and a State of Maine Adult Education endorsement in a HiSET content area (ELA, Social Studies, Science, or Math), or eligibility to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• State of Maine Adult Education endorsement in a HiSET content area (ELA, Social Studies, Science, or Math), or eligibility to obtain one.
• Preferred: Maine K–12 certification in a HiSET content area
• Current CHRC required

Responsibilities

• Teach a HiSET writing preparation class.
• Tutor students during fall and spring semesters.
• Help students build confidence and strengthen writing skills to earn their high school equivalency.

Education

Bachelor's degree
