Job summary

Greater Lawrence Technical School is seeking a collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to high school students with communication disorders. The 0.5 FTE position offers scheduling flexibility within a Career and Technical Education high school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA/CAA-accredited program.
• Massachusetts Initial or Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and MA Special Education Regulations (603 CMR 28.00).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language using formal and informal measures.
• Prepare evaluation reports and determine eligibility for speech-language services.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and monitor IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services in various settings per IEPs.
• Monitor progress, collect data, and prepare timely progress reports.
• Participate in evaluations, reevaluations, and special education meetings.
• Support classroom accommodations and AAC when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and ensure compliance with regulations.
