Qualifications

• Playing experience and/or knowledge of softball is required.
• Previous high school or college coaching experience is preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Candidates must be available during after-school hours and weekends.
• Off-season meetings and duties are also required.

Responsibilities

• Upholds a spiritual and moral code consistent with the school’s mission and Catholic identity.
• Assists the softball program and maintains a clear coaching vision.
• Supports player development through current instructional coaching methods.
• Attends regular coaching staff meetings.
• Helps develop a master practice and game schedule.
• Represents the school at league meetings when needed.
• Ensures compliance with school policies and bylaws.
• Supports student-athlete recruitment and manages program equipment.
