Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a Part-Time Intervention Specialist to deliver in-person reading and math instruction to small groups at private schools in the Houston area. The role is on-site, Wednesdays 8am-3:30pm, with a pay rate of $23.50–$25 per hour based on experience. Bachelor's degree and Texas teaching certification are required.

You will use the evidence-based curriculum while adapting lessons to student needs, track progress, and collaborate with school staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Active Texas teaching certification is required.
• Experience teaching reading and math in a K-12 setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to helping all students grow and succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person reading and math instruction to small groups of 9–12 students.
• Use Catapult Learning’s evidence-based curriculum and lesson plans.
• Customize instruction to meet student needs and skill levels.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Track academic progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student success.
