Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma (minimum) and 48+ college credits or the ability to pass the Paraprofessional Assessment.
• Experience – Evidence of experience working with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning activities and preparation of instructional materials.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, recess, field trips, lunch times and classrooms as needed.
• Assist teacher with recording student progress data.
• Participate in general and job specific training as determined by the supervising teacher and principal.
• Supervise students in instructional and/or assessment activities on and off campus.
• Communicate with the classroom teacher on student progress and/or special needs of students.
• Interact respectfully with staff and parents.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Perform other reasonably-related duties as may be assigned by the principal or supervising teacher.
