Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated high school LifeWise Teacher to deliver for-credit Bible curriculum to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a caring, committed approach to teaching.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of classroom teaching experience, plus a personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise’s Statement of Faith.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Active Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach LifeWise high school curriculum.
• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of start date.
• Attend LifeWise Summit annually and participate in Teachers' Lounge/Meet-Up events.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance and assessments.
