Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time high school teacher to deliver the for-credit LifeWise curriculum to grades 9-12. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, committed, and proficient in teaching.

Responsibilities include completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, teaching with engaging strategies, maintaining accurate records, building relationships with students, and communicating with school staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required).
• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (in school or church).
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the provided high school curriculum.
• Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and class rosters.
• Establish an organized, encouraging classroom and engage students.
• Communicate with school staff and submit updates and materials as required.
