Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time high school teacher to deliver the for-credit LifeWise curriculum to grades 9–12. You will foster relationships with students, pray for them, and maintain a supportive, disciplined classroom focused on spiritual growth and academic excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, has at least two years of classroom teaching experience in schools or churches, and demonstrates a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy’s beliefs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the for-credit high school curriculum.
• Develop relationships with students and pray regularly.
• Foster an organized, encouraging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Maintain student records and communicate grades to the school office.
• Coordinate with staff on attendance and assessments.
• Prepare substitute lesson plans and materials.
