Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools in Thornton, CO is seeking a Replacement Athletic Coach for the upcoming season. This part-time role (2.5 hours/week, .0625 FTE) requires coaching experience and a current CPR/First Aid certificate, plus CHSSA eligibility. Salary follows the Certified Master Agreement and varies by sport and experience.

Responsibilities include supervising students, enforcing rules, and promoting safety and fair play within the program.

Qualifications

• Hold a current AED/CPR or First Aid/CPR certificate.
• Coaching experience at high school or college level preferred.
• Must supervise students and enforce CHSSA/CHSAA rules.
• Possess knowledge and skills in the specific sport.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct the sport.
• Ability to teach advanced techniques in the sport.
• Adhere to Board/ district policies and safety procedures.

• Develop and implement sport-specific coaching plans.
• Promote safety and proper conduct within the program.
