Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools in Thornton, Colorado seeks an Athletic Coach on a Replacement basis. This is a part-time role (2.5 hours per week; FTE 0.0625) to support high school athletic programs across sports as assigned.

The salary is determined by the sport and prior experience per the Certified Master Agreement. Candidates must hold current AED/CPR certification on hire, CHSAA coaching credentials, and pass the CHSAA annual Coaches Exam; district policies and CHSAA rules apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate in AED/CPR required upon hire.
• CHSAA coaching credentials required upon hire.
• CHSAA annual Coaches Exam must be passed.
• High school or college level coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise students within assigned sports.
• Enforce district, school, CHSSA rules and regulations.
• Plan, organize and direct sport activities.
• Teach advanced techniques in the sport.
