Chartwells K-12 at Yale Public Schools in Yale, MI is hiring immediately for part-time Helper Cook positions, with Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm shifts. Prior cooking experience is preferred, but not required.

This role involves following recipes, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting in food preparation and cooking under guidance. Paid training is offered as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience is preferred, but not required.
• Part-time availability with weekday schedule 8:30 am–12:30 pm.
• Must be able to read menu and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn to read menu to estimate food requirements.
• Prepares and cooks food according to recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in kitchen areas.
• Interact with customers and coworkers in a courteous manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
