Compass Group USA is hiring a part-time Helper Cook for Yale Public Schools in Yale, MI. The shift runs 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with paid training and opportunities to learn in a supervised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Read menu to estimate food requirements and procure ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and production records.
• Measure and mix ingredients using kitchen tools and equipment.
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust controls as needed.
• Carve, portion, and plate foods with garnishes as directed.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and organization in work areas.
