Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Mother/Baby Unit on a part-time 1st shift schedule. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care and support for new mothers and their babies, assisting with examinations, comfort, and routine tasks.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification (must obtain within 30 days if not already certified).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and support services to patients and families.
• This role performs selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and overall care of patients.
