Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks adjunct faculty to deliver healthcare-related instruction, creating learning environments and using Blackboard/PowerPoint to support student learning. Adjuncts are hired each semester as needed and work within established syllabi.

Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, maintaining attendance and grades, and being available outside class time to assist students.

Qualificações

• Earned baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years directly related healthcare work experience.
• Holds certification or licensure in a health care discipline providing care or service directly to patients.

Responsabilidades

• Teach assigned classes using syllabus provided and follow syllabus content and requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions.
• Use Blackboard/PowerPoint and other tech as appropriate.
• Notify program/department chair in case of emergency absence.
• Promote diversity and inclusion as part of work.
