Job summary

Penn State Beaver Office of Continuing Education is seeking qualified individuals to remotely teach non-credit healthcare classes online. Courses are delivered live via Zoom, typically during evenings or weekends, providing flexibility for instructors and adult learners.

We are currently looking for instructors to teach in Nursing Home Administration, Personal Care Home Administration, Assisted Living Administration, and other healthcare continuing education topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience or licensure (e.g., NHA, PCHA) strongly preferred.
• Prior experience teaching or training adult learners in a virtual setting is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using Zoom and online teaching tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and deliver course content via Zoom
• Engage adult learners through interactive virtual instruction
• Adapt course materials to diverse adult learning styles
• Facilitate discussions, group activities, and case study reviews

Courses are delivered live via Zoom, typically during evenings or weekends, providing flexibility for both instructors and adult learners.

We are currently looking for instructors to teach in the following program areas:

• Nursing Home Administration (NHA)
• Personal Care Home Administration (PCHA)
• Assisted Living Administration
• Other related healthcare continuing education topics

Instructor Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and deliver course content via Zoom
• Engage adult learners through interactive virtual instruction
