Primary duties include cleaning, restocking, waste removal, and reporting repairs while ensuring adherence to department standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of relevant cleaning/ES duties experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, and fixture maintenance.
• Washes windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures.
• Sweeps, scrubs, and refinishes floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
• Restocks restrooms and replaces light bulbs; reports repairs.
• Works indoors with potential outdoor cleaning activities; uses ladders when needed.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports malfunctions to maintenance staff.
• Maintains safe environment and adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Attends in-service education and safety training as required.
