Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services team member in Burlington, WI. The role includes cleaning patient areas, offices, and public spaces using power equipment and adhering to safety and infection-control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various types of cleaning equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
• Ability to lift and move items as required

Responsibilities

• Cleans furniture and carpets in rooms, hallways, stairs, and offices using power equipment
• Cleans floors with dry and wet mops and refinishes floors
• Operates cleaning equipment and reports safety hazards
• Notifies supervisor of unsafe conditions and equipment needing repair
• Sorts and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste
• Cleans patient care areas, restrooms, lobby, and other areas as required
