Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Associate to maintain patient care areas and common spaces at the AMC Washington County facility in Wisconsin. The role involves cleaning patient areas, restrooms, offices, and public spaces, with strict infection control practices and a 20-hour weekly schedule including every third weekend and specific evening shifts.

No formal education or prior experience is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work alone and understand the facility layout.
• Ability to set priorities and follow department policies and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, lobbies, offices, elevators and stairwells.
• Cleans environmental surfaces including ceilings, walls, doors, furniture and windows.
• Assists in cleaning spills and maintaining cleanliness of exam and patient areas.
• Dusts and mops floors in patient areas, corridors and restrooms.
• Replaces cubicle/window coverings and distributes supplies.
• Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash and medical waste while following infection control guidelines.
