Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University seeks a Part-Time Instructor in Accounting and Finance to teach revenue-generating courses for undergraduate and graduate programs. Assignments align with the applicant’s background and expertise and will primarily be conducted face-to-face.

The candidate should have 1-3 years of university teaching experience and 2-3 years of industry experience; a PhD is preferred, with ABD or a related master's also considered.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have at least 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level, and 2-3 years of industry experience.
• This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
• NC A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

Responsibilities

• Assignments will be based on the applicant’s educational background, professional experience, and areas of expertise.
