JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Scranton, Department of Athletics, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Part-Time Women's Basketball Head Coach.

The Head Coach is responsible for:

• Recruitment and retention
• Player development (athletic, academic, and personal)
• Practice and competition planning and implementation
• Team events under the direction of the Athletic Director, with the opportunity to have an Assistant Coach

Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Adherence to PSUAC, USCAA, and NCAA Division III rules
• Hours vary between 15 to 30 hours per week depending on the season and team schedule
• This position requires operating a motor vehicle; a valid US driver's license and successful motor vehicle records check are required.
• Must have the following three publicly available clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Criminal Background Check
