Job summary

Great Cacapon Head Start is seeking a Part-Time Head Start/Pre-K Food Service Aide in Morgan County, WV to support meals at multiple sites. The role requires reliable transportation with travel reimbursement and a valid driver’s license.

Starting date is To Be Determined, salary is $16.00 per hour for up to 30 hours per week. Qualifications include background check clearance, physical exam, TB test, high school diploma or equivalent, and preference for bilingual or multilingual candidates and

Qualifications

• Must be able to clear a background check.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam.
• Must have a negative TB test.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED/TASC, or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with young children.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual or multilingual.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport prepared meals to assigned Head Start Pre-K sites.
• Distribute meals to assigned Head Start Pre-K classrooms.
• Collect dishes and items to return to the kitchen site.
• Assist with clean up as assigned.
• Cover classroom breaks as assigned.
• Maintain positive interactions with all students, parents, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
