Job summary

TrulyHired seeks a Part-Time/As Needed driver and food service helper to support EPIC Head Start in Berkeley County. You will transport meals to Head Start Pre-K sites and deliver to classrooms, ensuring safety and positive interactions with children and staff.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required; travel reimbursement is provided. Preference for candidates with experience with young children and bilingual abilities. Background checks and TB test may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to clear a background check.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam.
• Must have a negative TB test.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED/TASC, or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Preference for candidates with experience working with young children.
• Preference for bilingual or multilingual candidates.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport prepared meals to assigned Head Start Pre‑K sites.
• Distribute meals to assigned Head Start Pre‑K classrooms.
• Collect dishes and items to return to the kitchen site.
• Assist with clean up as assigned.
• Cover classroom breaks as assigned.
• Maintain positive interactions with all students, parents, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
