JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Hazleton, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for the Head Coach position in the sport of Men’s Golf within the Department of Athletics.
The Head Coach is responsible for practice preparation, player development, gameday coaching, and recruiting. The position requires strict adherence to PSUAC, United States Collegiate Athletic Association, and NCAA Division III rules. Primary hours are in-season from August to November; some off-season work includes recruiting, attending virtual and in-person meetings, and participating in spring events during the non-traditional season. Candidates should be well-versed in golf, with previous coaching experience preferred. This is a part-time position.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. The role involves operating a motor vehicle; a valid driver’s license and successful motor vehicle records check are required.
