Essential Functions:

• Assist customers at self-checkout registers by monitoring and providing assistance.
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services.
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers across multiple registers.
• Ensure accurate transactions while moving throughout the checkout area.
• Thank customers and invite them to return.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service in line with Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and guide them through projects.
• Use cash registers to process transactions, returns, and refunds.
• Support front-end team with supervision and coaching.
• Handle merchandise processing, security tags removal, and bagging.
• Answer phone calls and manage register coverage.

In-stock:

• Prepare register area at shift start/end, check equipment functionality, and stock supplies.
• Inspect returned merchandise and manage online orders and price verifications.
• Record store item usage.

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor cash and merchandise security.
• Detect and report shoplifting and security risks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operate store equipment as required.

General:

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment.
• Experience as a head cashier or in supervisory roles.
• Experience in shoplifting detection.
