Essential Functions:
- Monitor and assist customers at self-checkout registers
- Engage with customers to recommend products and services
- Greet, assist, and engage with customers across multiple registers
- Ensure accurate transactions through standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting
- Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
- Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Train and support team members
- Process sales transactions and refunds
- Handle merchandise and security tags
- Manage phone calls and register coverage
In-stock:
- Prepare and check register equipment and supplies
- Inspect returned merchandise
- Manage online orders and price matching
- Record store item usage
Clean and Safe Stores:
- Monitor cash and security alarms
- Detect and report theft or security risks
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
- Operate store equipment as needed
General:
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Less than 1 year of computer experience
- Less than 1 year of retail technology experience
- 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Preferences:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment
- Experience as a head cashier and in retail departments
- Supervisory experience
- Experience in theft detection
