Essential Functions:

• Monitor and assist customers at self-checkout registers
• Engage with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers across multiple registers
• Ensure accurate transactions through standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Train and support team members
• Process sales transactions and refunds
• Handle merchandise and security tags
• Manage phone calls and register coverage

In-stock:

• Prepare and check register equipment and supplies
• Inspect returned merchandise
• Manage online orders and price matching
• Record store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor cash and security alarms
• Detect and report theft or security risks
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
• Operate store equipment as needed

General:

• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of computer experience
• Less than 1 year of retail technology experience
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment
• Experience as a head cashier and in retail departments
• Supervisory experience
• Experience in theft detection
