Essential Functions:

• Assisted Self Check Out
• Demonstrates ability to monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers
• Approaches and interacts with customers proactively to recommend products and services
• Greets, assists, and engages with customers at multiple registers simultaneously
• Moves throughout the checkout area, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving products to ensure accurate transactions
• Thanks customers and invites them back to Lowe’s

Customer Service:

• Provides excellent customer service following Lowe's policies and procedures
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Responds promptly to questions and guides customers through projects
• Shows sincere appreciation to customers
• Communicates product information, warranties, and benefits
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities
• Uses a cash register for transactions, returns, and refunds
• Provides change and supports front-end team
• Removes security tags, verifies product info, bags merchandise
• Answers calls and manages register coverage
• Assists with line vesting for quicker checkout

In-stock:

• Prepares register area at shift start/end, checks functionality, stocks supplies
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Enters customer orders, verifies receipts, and signs loading tickets
• Reviews and manages online orders and returns
• Checks prices and verifies price matches
• Records store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitors cash and security, assists with alarms
• Detects shoplifting signs and reports to management
• Maintains cleanliness and organization
• Ensures safety compliance, operates store equipment as needed

General:

• Performs additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, supervisory roles, and shoplifting detection
