Qualifications

Role Description The Part-Time Handyman (1099) is a contract role responsible for performing a variety of residential maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks for clients of Precise Home Pros, LLC. This remote role involves traveling to customer locations within the service area to complete work such as minor carpentry, painting touch-ups, fixture installation, basic drywall repair, caulking, and general home upkeep. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing work orders, communicating clearly with clients about project scope, sourcing materials as needed, documenting work performed, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The Handyman will collaborate with the operations team via phone, text, or online tools, follow company standards and local codes, and represent the brand professionally on every visit. Scheduling is part-time and flexible, with assignments based on availability and project demand.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong handyman skills, including basic carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical (non-licensed level), drywall repair, painting, and general home maintenance.
• Candidates should possess skills in using hand and power tools safely, reading measurements, interpreting work orders, and following building and safety guidelines.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills such as clear communication, professionalism in client homes, punctuality, and the ability to explain work and recommendations in plain language.
• Candidates should possess organizational skills, including time management, job documentation (photos and notes), and reliable coordination with the office and scheduling systems.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel within the Southwest Florida service area.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and working both indoors and outdoors.
• Experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or residential remodeler; prior work with kitchens, baths, or painting projects is a plus.
• Ownership of basic tools and a smartphone for communication, navigation, and photo documentation.
