Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a highly qualified Physician - Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Surgery/Gynecology.

You will perform the full range of gynecologic surgical procedures (laparoscopy, robotic and hysteroscopy) and contribute to resident supervision where applicable, while ensuring comprehensive patient care for our veterans. Works include clinic duties, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• MD/DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Residency training in gynecologic surgery leading to board eligibility/certification.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred: board certified/board eligible; laparoscopic/robotic experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of gynecologic surgical procedures (laparoscopy, robotic, hysteroscopy).
• Provide resident supervision where applicable and maintain timely documentation.
• Ensure comprehensive patient care and adherence to VA policies within the Department of Surgery/Gynecology.
