Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Physician - Gynecologic Surgeon to deliver comprehensive surgical and clinical services within an interdisciplinary team, accountable to the Chief of Surgery and Gynecology. You will supervise residents where applicable and adhere to department policies.

Responsibilities include performing laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic procedures, caring for female veterans, managing assigned OR and clinic times, completing medical records, CME, and ongoing

Qualifications

• MD degree from an approved medical school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Board certification or eligibility in gynecologic surgery.
• Completion of residency in OB/GYN with subspecialty training.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of gynecologic surgical procedures (laparoscopy, robotic and hysteroscopy).
• Be willing to care for female veterans, including training in PTSD and MST.
• Assigned OR block time and scheduled clinic times.
• Ensuring timely completion of medical record documentation.
• Complete annual CME training and maintain licensure.
