Job summary

Veterans Health Administration in the United States seeks a Physician - Gynecologic Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical and clinical gynecology services within the Department of Surgery/Gynecology. The incumbent will perform the full range of gynecologic surgeries, supervise residents if applicable, and ensure high standards of patient care, documentation, and compliance with VA policies.

A full and unrestricted US medical license is required, with preference for

Qualifications

US citizenship as required; licensed to practice medicine in a US state
MD or DO degree from an approved school
Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the US
Residency trained in core specialty; board-eligible or board-certified preferred
Laparoscopic and robotic surgery experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform the full range of gynecologic surgical procedures (laparoscopy, robotic, hysteroscopy) and in-office gynecologic procedures.
Be assigned OR block time and clinic times; provide patient care and supervision as applicable.
Ensure timely completion of medical record documentation and CME requirements.
Maintain professional conduct and participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives.
