Job summary

Foothills Park & Recreation District seeks a part-time Gymnastics Team Coach to train and coach advanced gymnasts, supervise programs, and help with attendance, lesson planning and team routines.

The role requires presence at CARA practices and meets, with schedule-aligned Mondays and Wednesdays, plus seasonal adjustments. CPR/First Aid preferred, and CARA Safety Awareness certification is required before competition season.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching youth gymnasts in advanced techniques, including flight skills and twists.
• One year of previous experience in structured gymnastics programming.
• Experience supervising children ages 6–18 preferred.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
• CARA Safety Awareness certificate required before competition season.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach advanced gymnasts and supervise gymnastics programs.
• Develop lesson plans, learn and teach team routines.
• Attend all CARA practices and meets, assess participant progress.
